Dr. Amardeep Bains

Dr. Bains is Regional Dental Director for Southern California with California Correctional Health Care Services, the healthcare arm of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, holding executive oversight of dental services across one of the largest correctional healthcare systems in the country.

That setting is unforgiving in a specific way: fixed capacity, high acuity, heavy regulation, and no ability to select your patient population or your staffing market. Operational improvement is not a slide deck exercise. It is standardizing protocols across institutions, moving throughput without adding chairs, and holding quality while doing it.

He came to it through clinical practice on four continents — the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and Kenya. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an ICF Professional Certified Coach, and speaks internationally to medical and dental audiences.
